Legal holds are perhaps the most litigated aspect of electronic discovery. As a company's litigation volume increases, managing holds can become daunting, costly, and disruptive to business operations. Moreover, improperly executed holds can lead to crippling sanctions or adverse jury verdicts long after a triggering event occurs.
